My name is Denilson Eizo Fukunishi, but people call me 'Deni'. Denilson is my Brazilian name. Eizo my Japanese name which means 'image'. My family migrated to Brazil before the Second World War from Nara and Hiroshima - Japan, and settled down in São Paulo, where I grow up and lived before migrating to Australia.

This brief summary tells a lot of about myself. I am a 'city-person' (São Paulo is the third biggest city in the world) that loved Sydney and decided to 'return' to the East-side of the globe. Nipo-Brazilians are a very interesting bunch of people. We mix the opposites: East-West, Rational-Emotional, North-South in a variety of combinations - a bit scary.

Eizo Design is the result of this combination. Some will see traces of my background in my work, but I hope people will appreciate my search for the 'universal' elements and symbols, that makes us bound together as human beings.

Eizo Design is my space for creativity. Creativity with a reason and with people needs in mind.
